Our Staff

The Lodge on Lafayette is a distinct part of Rose Haven Nursing Home. It is privately owned by David and Coleen Yearian.

David and Coleen each have over 35 years experience in Long Term Care, starting out in the Yearian Nursing Home in 1972. They owned and operated that facility until 1985, when the two became the administration of Rose Haven. In 1997, Brooklyn Community Estates was purchased and David became the licensed administrator of both facilities. Coleen is the primary administrative personnel in Marengo and is the primary contact person for staff and residents.

In 1998, ground was broken for a 10 unit independent living facility that we now know as The Lodge on Lafayette. A major remodeling project to Rose Haven was included with a new kitchen and laundry, and new offices. The project was completed in March, 2001.

Today our 10 apartment facility is functioning as planned. A small but pleasant community has developed, and we are proud to introduce our primary staff at The Lodge on Lafayette.
