About Our Fees
At the Lodge on Lafayette, you have two choices as to the fees charged for a unit with many amenities that allow you to stay safely and worry-free in our independent living facility.
- Entrance Fee
This is a one time fee of $60,000 for a deluxe or $55,000 for a standard unit. The deluxe unit requires a $1,300.00 monthly fee and the standard unit is $1,250.00.
Monthly Fee with no Entrance Fee
In lieu of the Entrance Fee being waived, you may become a tenant at the Lodge by paying $1,900 per month for a standard unit or $2,000 a month for a deluxe unit.
An additional charge of $500 per month shall be charged for double occupancy.
While this may appear high compared to rent, please understand you are receiving much more than just a PLACE. If you go out to eat twice a day for 31 days @ $6.00 per meal, you have spent $375 just to eat. We mow the lawn, remove the snow, take you shopping, keep the house, do the laundry, pay the utilities and you just buzz for help. We can do much, much more for a reasonable additional fee.
Today, long term care ranges from $95 to $150 per day in rural areas. If we consider a $110 per day charge for a private room and bath, which is hard to find in most areas, you are paying $3,350 per month, or almost twice as much as we offer at The Lodge on Lafayette.
